Thinking about the Sermon - Parshat Shemot
On Shabbat, I discussed how Moses didn't want to follow Hashem's instruction of going to redeem the people because he feared (correctly) that he would not be able to redeem them straight away and would have to see them suffer. Often in our own lives, we find it very difficult when we can't get all the desired results straight away. Because of this, we sometimes don't even try.
