From the Desk - Upcoming Events and Bazaar

Shalom Friends! I hope you're all enjoying a great week. All is well with Family Knopf. Carly and Avrami have been in London this week so Dovid, Rachelli, Yehuda and I have been learning how to cook, tidy the house and other challenges of life! Events At Beth Ora, there are a number of events coming up which are advertised in the newsletter, some of which I want to draw your attention to. The first is our parenting course which is being launched on November 15th at 7:45 pm with a talk on Facts and Myths About Bullying from Victoria Talwar of McGill University. The cost is $10. The second event is the return of Shul for Dummies as Jack Dym invites us all to breakfast at the synagogue on Thursday, November 17th at 7:30 am. I will be giving a talk on Apologies Gone Right... and Wrong, exploring the challenges of saying sorry, what it means and when and how we should do it. The cost is $15. Please book for these sessions through the synagogue office. Let us not forget, the Bazaar, that Nadine Anders has been working tirelessly on, starts today at 3:00pm. Come take advantage of great merchandise at fantastic prices! If today doesn't work for you, there are two other days to take note of, Sunday, November 6th from 9:00am - 5:00 pm and Sunday, November 13th from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Our Condolences We wish to extend our condolences to the family of Ruth Rabinovitch who passed away this week. May the family only know happy times going forward and may they be comforted by the beautiful memories. Wishing everyone at Congregation Beth Ora a Shabbat Shalom, Rabbi Anthony and Carly Knopf Dovid, Rachelli, Yehuda and Avrami
