THOUGHTS FROM THIS WEEK'S PARSHA

 

How we choose to act at home has a big effect on how our home is going to feel.

In this week's Torah portion, we learn that in the times of our ancestors, when a person would behave in a negative way, it would not only affect them, but even show up as a stain called a 'negah' on the very walls of their homes. Today, we can use this lesson to inspire us to act in a way that will help turn our homes into positive places that make people feel good.

The Beth Ora Seniors Afternoon Lecture Series will take place on Tuesday at 1:45 P.M. Their guest speaker will be Thomas Hecht, a leader in the community. His topic will be "Israel - Where to Now?". Everyone welcome. Refreshments will be served.

The Young Men's Study Group, will take place on Wednesday at 8:00 P.M. at Congregation Beth Ora

Yayin Canada is offering Congregation Beth Ora the opportunity to purchase a selection of Kosher wines for Passover in a project aimed at supporting the synagogue.
